PATH Foster Parent Education
PATH is committed to initial and ongoing support, training and education for foster and adoptive families, building on lived experience to enhance professional understandings and skills. PATH families participate in unit meetings called "Share and Support" which provide mutual support facilitated by social workers and educational opportunities.
PATH North Dakota
In North Dakota, PATH foster families receive almost all of their education through the Children and Family Services Training Center at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. For calendar of options and other information contact can be made through the local PATH North Dakota office or directly at 701-777-3442.
PATH Minnesota
Education for PATH MN families is scheduled at local, regional and statewide venues and local community education offerings are posted and encouraged.
Each PATH office has a small but functional library of print and media materials that support fostering and adoption. Local staff will assist families in finding materials relevant to their situation.
PATH Alliance offers topical chats through a website developed some time ago through a federal grant entitled Foster Parent Net at Foster Parent Net.
